Information systems must respond to the changing of the physical information model by modifying, removing and creating new objects. By adopting the versioning concept every change in the object structure affects the object version by increasing it and gives the advantage of allowing full system rollback to a previous state and keeping old objects valid only for viewing or changing. Changed objects are saved in the new (current) object version.
